I'm here! No need to put in a missing blogger report. I am right here, well at least 75% here. I am fighting some issue that started with a killer (2-pack-a-day type) cough. This morning it became a runny nose, sore-ish throat and yup still the sexy cough.

Last night, my cough and I headed up to on East 66th Street to join
Jess and
Gia for the Wednesday night run with the Lululemon run club. Yup, great idea, not mine though. It started with a plan to go for drinks with
Theodora and in the end, Theodora,
Ashley, and
Stephanie all met at Lulu for some 400m repeats.
I am so not sure what speed work has to do with drinks, but hey, I go with the flow. After so much solo training, it was great to see some of my fave NYC runner peeps as I panted "all out" for six 400 meter runs with same distance recoveries. I haven't downloaded my times from my Garmin, but I'll assume that I was not as fast as I feel I was. Regardless, it was fun. I also met some cool
chicks that I hope to see again soon.

Afterwards, Steph and I decided to catch up and refuel because surprisingly it's difficult to chat while running your butt off. We followed the iPhone blue dot to Jackson Hole (which is literally a hole in the wall). It was so great to chat in person for a change, since we haven't seen each other for more than 5 minutes at a race start since last June. Hubby was nice enough to bathe and feed my little monkeys and I came home to a surprisingly clean house.

Don't tell him, but I might do this more often. ;)
Ten miles on deck for this weekend. I thought it might be a misprint and then I remembered that I registered for the Dolphin Challenge at the
Yuengling Shamrock Marathon Weekend in Virginia Beach. Yup, one weekend visiting hubby's family, an 8k and a 13.1. Is there a better way to celebrate being Irish?!
So, who's running a St. Pat's weekend race?
And who's got extra green running gear for me?
More importantly, who's running 10 with me this weekend?
Are you running 10 with the Lululemon Run Club Saturday? I'll be there!
ReplyDeleteI just got a green Sparkly Soul headband for the NYC Half since it's on St Patty's Day!!
Nope, not a misprint!=)
